The Molten Metal Splashes Impact Tester, in accordance with ISO 9150, is designed to access the performance of materials used for protective clothing when materials are impacted by the small molten metal splashes.
This test method is applied to single-layer clothing, multi-layer clothing, or material assembly used to protect workers against small molten metal splashes.
Features
The Molten Metal Splashes Impact Tester consists of a burner, steel rod feeding device, drop guide, temperature sensor, and control system.
The test device is contained in a full safety cover, which ensures operator’s health and safety.
Oxyacetylene welding-torch burner, with an orifice diameter of 1.2mm.
Equips with a motorized steel rod feeding device, the feeding speed is adjustable.
Equips with a drop guide to collect the molten steel drops and guide them to drop to the test specimen vertically.
Provides a temperature sensor for temperature rising measurement, sensor meets ISO 9150 requirements.
Provides counterweights of 175 grams to maintain consistent specimen tension.
The test device is controlled by PLC and operated via an English interface.
